J & B

The history of this Whisky starts in 1749 when Giacomo Justerini from Bologna went to London to court Margaret Bellino, known opera singer of that time. Rejected by the woman he decided to stay in London, where he founded a commercial company of wine together with George Johnson. The company had a great success and in 1831, was bought out by Alfred Brooks that renamed it as Justerini & Brooks. One hundred year after the was born J&B RARE, created to give Americans something tasty to drink after the Prohibition period when alcoholic beverages were often rude and crude. The J&B RARE is a blend of 42 different Scottish Whisky carefully selected to create a product with a delicate balance. The main base is formed by Whisky coming from the Speyside, which is considered the best Scottish area of malts production, that give a fruity taste and light color.
