Metaxa
Brandy produced in Greece created in 1888 by Spyros Metaxas. For production are used three different grape varieties: Sultana, Savatiano and grapes of Corinth. The Spirit is aged in Limousin oak barrels for a minimum of three years. Then to Brandy are added Samos or Lemnos Muscat grapes, essences of rose petals and a secret series of aromatic herbs and it is let to age for another year. Before being bottled it spend a few days at a temperature below zero and then is filtered. There are several stars on the label which indicate, with their numbers, the years of aging.
